Easy care

Every day or two: run the vacuum over it (no metal nozzle) and give it a shake outdoors now and then. An hour in the fresh air brings back its plumpness.

Deep clean: use a carpet and upholstery foam cleaner, leave it for 15–30 minutes, then vacuum. A steam cleaner also works beautifully and even puffs the pebbles back up.

Machine? Possible at 30 °C on a gentle cycle with no spin, at most once a month, but the less often it goes in, the longer it keeps its softness and grip.

Why is my discount only valid for 7 days?

Is it really that thick and soft?

Yes. The pebbles are 2.5 cm of high-density memory foam under a plush velvet top. Be careful with very cheap copies that only look thick in photos: thin foam flattens and a mat without a proper grip base can slide.

Does the non-slip base work on every floor?

The SBR rubber base grips tile, wood, stone and most other floors. Make sure the floor is completely dry before you lay the mat down, and keep the base away from standing water: if water runs underneath (some walk-in showers), any mat can slide.

Can I use it with a walk-in shower?

Yes, as long as your shower has a lip or step and water can't flow under the mat. With level-access showers that don't drain properly we'd advise against it, for this or any other bath mat.

Does it dry quickly?

Yes. The velvet dries far faster than a classic cotton bath mat, so it's dry and ready for the next person.

Can I vacuum it or use a steam cleaner?

Both. Vacuum it regularly (no metal nozzle) and use a steam cleaner for a deep clean: it even puffs the pebbles back up.

Is it safe on underfloor heating?

Yes, the rubber base is made to handle continuous warmth from underfloor heating.

Can it go in the washing machine?

It can, at 30 °C with no spin, ideally with a full drum, but we don't recommend it often: frequent machine washing wears down the softness and the grip. Once a month at most, and vacuuming plus foam cleaner in between.
