Can the wooden arms handle damp clothes? Will they stain?
The beechwood arms are lacquered and sealed to cope with moisture, so they stay practical and durable with wet laundry on them. In everyday use we haven't seen the arms stain, even after a long time. And because the rack takes up to 48 hangers, you can always hang clothes on plastic or wooden hangers if you prefer.
Is it a good idea to dry clothes indoors?
In winter it often helps: indoor air gets very dry, and drying laundry (with normal ventilation) can keep wooden floors, furniture and your airways from drying out. In summer it's fine too, just air the room well so it doesn't get too humid. LUFTA is made to fit into your home, so you can dry clothes neatly without a big metal rack in the middle of the living room. Good airflow means a healthy home.
How do I put LUFTA together?
You don't. LUFTA arrives fully assembled, with no instructions or tools needed.

How do I keep the legs folded in?
The foot has a click lock. Clicked in, the legs stay inside the column; clicked out, the legs can be pushed out into a tripod.

Can I dry dresses on it?
Open, the rack stands about 117 cm to the arms, which is usually enough for a dress to hang without touching the floor. You can also fold a dress over one of the arms.
Will large sizes fit?
Yes. With about 117 cm of height there's room for long jumpers and big T-shirts. Most T-shirts, even XXXXL, are under 90–100 cm long, so they hang freely.
Can I change how many arms are open?
Yes. Open as many arms as the load needs and leave the rest folded to save space.
How heavy is it?
4.2 kg. The solid column base keeps it standing firmly.
