The hook-and-loop closure doesn't stick?!
The hook-and-loop strip on the inside comes with a protective cover that needs to be peeled off before first use – it's easy to miss. Tip: put the cover back on before you roll SLUMRA up into its bag, so the hooks don't catch on the inner fabric.
What is SLUMRA made of?
The core is 100% memory foam, one of the most comfortable materials used in the sleep industry. The cover is a soft, high-quality polyester and cotton blend.
From what age can SLUMRA be used?
From about 5 years up. It depends on the child's size and needs, so for younger travellers simply try it and see whether it fits comfortably. Children should use it under supervision.
Can I use it for more than travelling?
Absolutely. It's just as good at home on the sofa, at the office, or anywhere you want a bit of extra support.
Does it give enough support on long flights?
Yes – that's what it was designed for. The ergonomic shape reduces strain on the neck and holds your head upright, and the built-in chin rest stops your head from tipping away.
How long does it take to get used to it?
Most people feel comfortable straight away. For some it takes a trip or two until it feels completely natural – just give it a little time.
