Do I need to install an app?
No. The camera that does the tracking sits in the base, not in your phone, so there's nothing to download and nothing to pair. Clip the phone in, switch it on, and open whatever app you were going to use anyway.
Will it work with my phone?
Yes, with Android and iPhone alike. The clamp opens wide enough for large phones and stays shut on small ones, with or without a case.
How does it know it's me?
It looks for a face. Hold up an OK sign and it locks onto yours in about a second, then turns to keep you centred. A peace sign puts it in single-person mode so it stays on you and ignores anyone else who walks past.
How do I stop it following me?
Hold up an open palm for three seconds and it stops where it is. Hold up an OK sign again to start it back up.
Can I use it for video calls and live streams?
Yes. Because it tracks from its own base rather than through an app, it works the same in your camera app, on a video call or in a live stream, on any platform.
Does it fit on a tripod?
Yes. Twist the round base off anticlockwise and you'll find a standard 1/4" thread underneath, so it screws onto any tripod, selfie stick or light stand. Line the hole up and turn it clockwise.
Does it take batteries?
No. It has a rechargeable battery and charges over USB, so there's nothing to buy and nothing to swap.
Is it heavy to carry?
