Every set comes with 3 candles in three heights:

  • Small: 10 cm tall, 7.5 cm wide (4 × 3 in)
  • Medium: 12.5 cm tall, 7.5 cm wide (5 × 3 in)
  • Large: 15 cm tall, 7.5 cm wide (6 × 3 in)

Plus 1 remote that runs the whole set:

  • Timer: 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours
  • Flicker setting: a moving, candle-like flame
  • Steady setting: a calm, constant light
  • Dimming, brighter or softer

Each candle takes 2 AA batteries (not included).

Which batteries do they take?
Each candle runs on 2 standard AA batteries (not included). They're easy to find and quick to swap.
How long does a set of batteries run?
Around 500–600 hours of normal use. Brighter settings use a little more, and the timer helps a set of batteries go further.
How do I make them brighter or softer?
With the remote: − and + dim or brighten the glow, and you can switch between a flickering flame and a steady light. Each candle also has its own switch underneath.
Is there anything that can burn or catch fire?
Yes. There's no open flame and they don't get hot, so there's nothing to burn fingers or paws and nothing that can set anything alight.
Will I hear or smell anything?
No. They're completely silent and unscented. They simply glow.
Will they melt or lose their shape over time?
No. The LED gives off no real heat and the shell is sturdy acrylic, so they won't melt, fade or shatter like glass, and they keep their shape for years.
Do they work outdoors?
Under cover, yes: a covered porch, a screened veranda or a sheltered patio is fine. Keep them out of the rain and away from heavy moisture.
Is there a timer?
Yes. Choose 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours on the remote and the candles switch themselves off, which also saves battery.
