Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used and shared when you visit or buy from osmilash.shop (the “Site”). The Site is operated by EDCOMMERCE LIMITED.
Personal information we collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including details of your web browser, your IP address, your time zone and some of the cookies installed on your device. As you browse, we also collect information about the individual pages or products you look at, the websites or search terms that brought you to the Site, and how you interact with it. We call this automatically collected information “Device Information”.
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
- “Cookies” are data files placed on your device or computer that often include an anonymous unique identifier. To learn more about cookies and how to turn them off, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
- “Log files” record actions that happen on the Site and collect data including your IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, and date and time stamps.
- “Web beacons”, “tags” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record how you browse the Site.
When you buy, or try to buy, through the Site, we also collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, delivery address, payment information, email address and phone number. We call this “Order Information”.
When this policy talks about “Personal Information”, it means both Device Information and Order Information.
How do we use your personal information?
We use Order Information mainly to fulfil orders placed through the Site, including processing your payment, arranging delivery and sending you invoices or order confirmations. We also use it to:
- communicate with you;
- screen orders for possible risk or fraud; and
- where it matches the preferences you have shared with us, send you information or advertising about our products.
We use Device Information to help screen for possible risk and fraud (in particular your IP address) and, more generally, to improve and optimise the Site — for example by producing analytics about how customers browse and use it, and by measuring how well our marketing and advertising work.
Sharing your personal information
We share your Personal Information with third parties that help us use it as described above. For example, Shopify powers our online store — you can read how Shopify uses your Personal Information at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy. We also use Google Analytics to understand how customers use the Site — you can read how Google uses your Personal Information at https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/, and opt out of Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We may also share your Personal Information to comply with the law, to respond to a court order, warrant or other lawful request for information, or otherwise to protect our rights.
Behavioural advertising
As described above, we use your Personal Information to show you targeted advertising or marketing we think may interest you. To learn how targeted advertising works, see the Network Advertising Initiative's page at http://www.networkadvertising.org/understanding-online-advertising/how-does-it-work.
You can opt out of targeted advertising here:
